XD But really, I think it fits. Jace is supposed to be a genius after all, and Einstein was famous for his wild 'do.
I'm not exactly a fan of flat-haired Jace (as he's often depicted in the Planeswalker comics). At the same time, I like the hoodless Jace sketch that Aleksi Briclot illustrated, where his hair is spiky, but in a more scruffy/natural way (versus the solid, hair-glued style here). I still like this Jace's hairstyle; the only off-putting factor about it is that it reminds me too much of classic Cloud Strife hair. That, and the fact that I don't recall Jace having such long hair (as to produce such long spikes) in any other media.
Also, it took me the longest time to realize that Jace, Memory Adept had such heavy black circles around his eyes. I'm rather curious about this facet of him. My assumption is that they're caused by stress induced from practicing mind-magic, or perhaps indication of other troubles in his life.
What are your thoughts Mr. Gregory (particularly about the black circles)?
